How to change the WordPress breadcrumbs Home link in StudioPress Genesis

If you have breadcrumbs enabled in your StudioPress Genesis theme, you may want to change the WordPress breadcrumbs Home link. Just add this WordPress Code Snippet to the functions.php file in your current WordPress theme in order to change the breadcrumbs home link.

add_filter ( 'genesis_home_crumb', 'change_breadcrumb_home_link' ); // Use with Genesis 1.5 or later
add_filter ( 'genesis_breadcrumb_homelink', 'change_breadcrumb_home_link' ); // Use with Genesis 1.4.1 or earlier

return preg_replace('/href="[^"]*"/', 'href="http://YOURSITE.com/home"', $crumb);
}

Be sure to use the filter above based on the version of Genesis you are using(see notes to right of filter line of code). Also be sure you change the “YOURSITE.com” text above with your domain and Home page. That’s it, now your breadcrumbs Home link should be changed to the one you set above. Hope this helps, enjoy!
