How to add the custom html widget to a widget area on your WordPress website

On your WordPress website you may be using widgets on part of the website. You may want to use the custom html widget that is built into WordPress in one of the widget areas on your website. If you do not know where the widgets are managed you can read this post to find out where to update the widgets on your website on there.

To add the custom html widget to a widget area on your WordPress website

  1. From the WordPress admin left menu you can click on appearance > widgets
  2. The left part of the page has available widgets
  3. The right part of the page has the different widget areas in your theme
  4. You can click on the custom html widget on the left part of the page and then move it to the widget area you want to put it in on there
  5. When you edit the widget you can click the save button to save the widget

That is one way to use the custom html widget on your website on there.
