If you are using StudioPress Genesis, you may want to change the number of footer widgets. Often it is set to 3 footer widgets by default, but you can change this number from within the functions.php file. Just edit this line of code in the functions.php file in your current WordPress theme in order to change the number of footer widgets your StudioPress Genesis theme has.
add_theme_support( 'genesis-footer-widgets', 3 );
The add_theme_support code above will likely be in your StudioPress Genesis theme’s functions.php file. You can find that code in that file and change the number from what it currently has(possibly 3 for example) to a differnt number. Please keep in mind you will likely also need to edit your stylesheet in the footer widgets section to accommodate the changed number of footer widgets. If your functions.php file does not have the code above, you will likely need to do more research to figure out how to change the number of footer widgets shown. I would not suggest adding the code above to your functions.php file as it may cause problems with your site/theme. As always, please be completely sure of what you are changing before you change it and I always suggest making backups of everything before making any changes. Hope this helps, enjoy!
